Ways to Give

Empowering lives

Your gift to The Arc of Washington County directly impacts the 600+ individuals living with intellectual or developmental disabilities in our community.

An investment today ensures a sustainable future. Donations to the Empowering Lives Fund, our greatest need, provide medical equipment and support needs to those financially unable to pay; extra-curricular, integrated activities off campus; enrichment activities for those who choose to stay on campus; capital improvements to homes and spaces on campus; and so much more.

The Arc of Washington County is a charitable non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization advocating for the rights and full participation of all children and adults with cognitive, intellectual and developmental disabilities in our community. It is governed by a Board of Directors elected from its membership. EIN: 52-0696197

We accept a wide variety of donations including stock transfer, bequest, multi-year pledges, donor advised funds, restricted funds, and grants.

Our Director of Development, Alli Lanham, would be happy to discuss your giving plan. Please call (301) 730-3299 or email ALanham@arcwc-md.org.

A check donation can be payable and mail to:

At times, our programs and services need additional items to successfully support individuals served by The Arc of Washington County. These items range from sensory toys to weighted blankets for our Stepping Stones Program, to art supplies for our Meaningful Day Program. Please check out our Amazon Wish List if you would like to shop to support The Arc of Washington County.
