Dancing with The Arc Stars
Dancing With The Arc Stars continues to be a shining example of bringing local leaders and businesses together to do something extraordinary for people served by The Arc of Washington County. The evening starts with dance performances by students at Barbara Ingram’s School of Dance and Ballet and All That Jazz. Followed by three dance performances, choreographed by owner of Ballet and All That Jazz, Lorna Shaffer, and former DWTAS contestant Mary Teal Medina.
Three teams practice the dances throughout the summer and early fall all while fundraising to remove financial barriers for the people supported by The Arc of Washington County. At the end of the night, one team is awarded the crystal disco ball. However, the ultimate prize is given to the people supported by the organization.

Proceeds from this event go into the organization’s Empowering Lives Fund which provide medical support to individuals supported by the organization, extracurricular opportunities off campus, on campus enrichment activities, holiday meals and gifts, and much more.
