DANCING WITH THE ARC STARS

For the past 10 years, 6 individuals from the community have joined together to create 3 dancing duos poised to compete in an entertaining dance competition fundraiser for The Arc of Washington County. Donations from this exciting event are used to support local adults and children with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities with care ranging from day activities to 24/7 care.

On Saturday, October 22, 2022, Dancing With The Arc Stars will be at Fountainhead Country Club in Hagerstown. At 6pm there will be a Cocktail hour featuring a performance by students from Ballet & All That Jazz and The Barbara Ingram School for the Arts, followed by dinner and the dance competition at 7pm.

Meet the Stars!

Introducing, the 2022 dancers:

Tara and Scott P.

Tara Nalley

Tara loves family, food, and fur babies, especially Laila Lou. When she isn’t working or dancing her heart out, she is relaxing with a good Netflix show on. Tara works at Frederick Pediatric Dentistry as a Billing/Insurance Coordinator and in the evenings teaches at Ballet and all That Jazz. Dancing and teaching is her passion, she loves watching her students flourish through life and their art form.
“Great dancers are not great because of their technique, they are great because of their passion.” -Martha Graham
Tara is beyond excited to be part of Dancing with The Arc Stars. From dancing with Barbara Ingram to her choreography being displayed in the Ballet and all That Jazz performance in 2021, she is more than thrilled to take the stage as a contestant this year!
