The ARC of Washington County, Inc. is dedicated to helping our individuals become vocationally trained to deliver quality work in their area of expertise in a community based environment. Our programs foster the concept of normalization and the integration of individuals with developmental disabilities into the work force. Recycling is a way for you or your business to demonstrate its concern for the community. Recycling helps save resources, landfill space, energy, and reduces pollution. The ARC of Washington County, Inc. vocational services program embarked on the collection of recyclables in 1989. The program continues to provide work experience for the developmentally disabled as well as providing a valuable service to the community.
Recycling is simple Simply save your office paper, newspapers, phonebooks, corrugated cardboard, plastic containers, aluminum cans and drop them off at our Recycling Center on Salem Avenue. You can also sign up for weekly curbside pick-up service for a minimal annual fee. Help the environment by participating in your area's curbside recycling program with your neighbors.
